After 13 years and 2 babies, marriage wasn’t something that we necessarily were looking for, however, the opportunity of a small and intimate dinner party, with our closest friends to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday, seemed like the perfect time and place, if there was ever going to be one.
We surprised all of our guests after the birthday speeches and promptly handed it over to Dee to get on down to business. She was incredible from the initial whispers two months before. She guided us, advised us and ensured that we would be comfortable with the outcome every step of the way. She demonstrated great understanding, listened intently to our requests and with no real wedding formalities to speak of, it was exactly how we wanted it. The perfect something we just wanted to do for ourselves.
We look forward to having our extended family and friends join us in a commitment ceremony in the future, and will be certain that Dee is our celebrant again. She is truly one of the most compassionate and positive people

We are writing to extend our gratitude for your outstanding efforts as the celebrant on our wedding day. Your diligence, professionalism and down to earth nature throughout the entire process was greatly appreciated and alleviated concerns and pressures that we otherwise may have felt. Further, your creativity and recommendations, whether we agreed to them or not, ensured that we were fully aware of all possibilities to ensure that ‘our special day’ was exactly that.
The delivery of the wedding ceremony fulfilled all of our expectations and more due to your personable nature and again your professionalism. All attendees commented on the beauty of the ceremony and the the important role you played. Due to your efforts we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to family, friends and colleagues and further providing this note as a reference.

Thank-you so much for agreeing to come all the way from Melbourne to Noosa to be our wedding Celebrant. We really wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to marry us on our special day! We had no idea what the ceremony should or shouldn’t include, so we were very grateful for all of your suggestions and input. You really researched into us as a couple, and built the ceremony around what was important to us…by incorporating Shane’s daughter, humour and laughter, as well as our more serious and personal feelings towards each other. The ceremony went seamlessly, and was enjoyed by all who attended. We couldn’t stop smiling, and loved hearing the laughter that came from our guests. We wouldn’t change a thing, and it certainly wouldn’t have been as memorable without you! We would highly recommend your positive, energetic and colourful approach to anyone wanting to use your services.
Our deepest gratitude, Shane and Tracey Hart xo
Organising a simple wedding ceremony turned out to be more difficult that we had imagined. Thankfully there was one thing that we did not have to worry about, our wedding celebrant. We were taken by Dee’s demeanour from moment we spoke on the phone to arrange a meeting. Our first and only meeting prior to the wedding was very relaxed and informal. Dee has a way of putting people at ease. On the day, Dee managed to infuse her natural warmth and enthusiasm into our very simple and private wedding. We wish to thank her for her understanding and making our special day memorable with her gracious presence.
And a very special thanks once again.

It has been a couple of months since our wedding day which has given us some time to reflect on what was a very busy and exciting time of our lives. As is the case with most of you reading this, planning a wedding is foreign territory and there are plenty of decisions to make along the way that will affect the day that it becomes. As soon as we met Dee we realised that we had found someone who was relaxed, fun, flexible and creative and we knew straight away that we both clicked with Dee.
We both think Dee is just gorgeous. She gave so much effort and care into planning our wedding, even down to the point of insisting on driving 1.5 hours to the venue about one month before to do a trial run. In the end we had the trial in a park near our place in the city and even the stormy outlook on the weather front didn’t dampen her energy. Huddling under an awning of a closed cafe while going through the ceremony trial with our family was such a fun and special experience that I am not sure would have happened with other celebrants. We met Dee three times in all during the lead up to our wedding and between meetings Dee was always quick to respond to any questions that we had.
We would not hesitate in recommending Dee. Dee has such a sparkly energy which is completely contagious.

We just wanted to say thank you for creating such a beautifully personalised ceremony… It was exactly what we wanted!
After such a wonderful time in Thailand, we didn’t want to take anything away from that, so it was so lovely that you were able to marry us in a fun, low-key way. It was a special day that we will cherish forever.
We will be more than happy to give you our highest recommendations to any couples that are wanting a fun-loving, quirky Celebrant.

Wanting to celebrate our son Jarvis’s 1st birthday (falling on Australia Day) and being non-religious, how could we mark this joyous occasion for our family and friends?
Gorgeous Dee (friend for over 20 years) suggested a Naming day, after some discussions, red wines and research by Dee, we all decided that it was the perfect idea for our family’s individual occasion. It was the most memorable time for us as parents, Jarvis (not that he knew) and Dee, who got her first gig as a celebrant.
Not to be bias, it was an amazing occasion, Dee injected so much laughter, joy and love into our celebration, she painted a beautiful picture of the past and present for our son, family and friends.
We have already booked her for our son Hunter’s 1st birthday/naming day (17/01/2015). Hands off that date!
